Frequently Asked Questions
I am here to help! Here are some FAQ’s for you to take a look at but if there are any other questions please contact me.
-
No you’re not late! Classes are structured into semesters but you are welcome to join at any time. Tuition is billed either quarterly or monthly and is prorated so you never pay for a class you can’t take.
-
Athletic ability can vary greatly in youth. My goal is to make sure every athlete finds a class that fits their skill level and that they can train in a class with their peers.
As a general rule, beginner levels are organized by age:
Level 1: 6-9 | Level 2: 10-12 | Advanced Tumbling: 12+
If your athlete has prior experience in tumbling or gymnastics then please contact me to assess the correct level before enrolling.
-
There is flexibility in allowing athletes stay together, but it is not guaranteed. So long as there is enough room in the class, that it doesn’t impact the class negatively, or that it doesn’t impact one of the athletes negatively, I am more than happy to keep kids together who know each other. Please contact me!

Once your athlete completes the necessary skill, strength, and flexibility requirements, they can move up! There is no time limit and you do not have to wait for the next semester to start the next level.
I am working on a skill tracking feature so you can stay up to date on your athlete’s progress!
-
No. There are not any competitions or recitals. My focus is on the day-to-day growth of my athletes. I fully recognize the benefit of practicing to perform/compete, however, I do not have the infrastructure or capacity to prepare for recitals or competitions.
At the end of each semester my students will get awards based on their individual achievements!

There is no uniform that is required, however I do ask that you wear athletic clothing (T-shirt with athletic shorts/pants). The goal is to be comfortable while moving. No jeans, midriffs, skirts/dresses, button-ups/collard shirts. If your athlete is wearing a watch, hat, or jewelry they will be asked to put them with their shoes before joining class.
-
Every class is now 1 hour long! Athletes in higher levels will be asked to take more classes per week.
